When and how did you discover Game Maker?
2002, search engine query.
What games or other projects have you made with (or for) Game Maker?
Chrissy platform game was made for the Suzanne Somers MSN online community and Carpets is my first ever game. Both are downloadable at http://members.lycos.co.uk/locsta/

I've also released Elsa platform game, inspired by a Tagalog online comic series. Kokuleket, like my other games is a simple platformer with a few breakout-style levels. Both are nowhere to be found, hehehe.

What are your favorite Game Maker games?
Tadzio's Island by René of http://gaygame.net is my favorite.
What advice would you give new Game Maker users or those who would like to improve?
To new Game Maker users, I encourage you to use your own graphics and don't be ashamed to release your games whether for critique or simply sharing your creation. Browse around for editables and examples and don't be afraid to ask questions.
What elements of a game are most important to you and why?
Graphics and originality. If you have both of these, you can make a good game, at least a minigame. I'd rather have a really good original minigame than a long boring buggy Mario remake where you're Koopa or something.
Why do you make games? What is your primary inspiration, motivation, or both?
I made games to explore parts of myself. The artistic, bored, intuitive, creative aspects.
Do you have other artistic pursuits other than game development? If so, what?
Typeface design has taken huge chunks of my days yet I find it extremely rewarding everytime. http://www.1001fonts.com/member_profile.html?author_id=18143
