When and how did you discover Game Maker?
Looking for a GIF animator at a freeware site. That was when GM was free.
Have you used any other game creation programs?
I tried some other crappy ones, I forget their names, but besides being free, they sucked.
What games or other projects have you made with (or for) Game Maker?
Christmas Crunch, Cubed, Homestead. They're either at http://geocities.com/capnchubby1 or http://www.dontlookdown.tk

Corn in Space
What are your favorite Game Maker games?
Dex Series by Dex CG/Chris Royer, Seiklus by Tapeworm, Prisms of Light 2 by Mr Chubigans/David Galindo
What are your favorite games NOT made with Game Maker?
Jet Set Radio Future! oh, and Jet Grind Radio, both GBA and DC versions. And Sonic! W00t for Sonic!
What advice would you give new Game Maker users or those who would like to improve?
Don't join teams. Teams don't work because if more than 2 people work on a game, it gets mixed up, and people don't meet goals or deadlines, or lose things. Its just a mess. If you can't handle a big game yourself, try minigames.
What elements of a game are most important to you and why?
Graphics and originality. If you have both of these, you can make a good game, at least a minigame. I'd rather have a really good original minigame than a long boring buggy Mario remake where you're Koopa or something.
Why do you make games? What is your primary inspiration, motivation, or both?
To get a head start in programming, and to make stuff for myself, and to get attention. Mostly the attention.
Do you have other artistic pursuits other than game development? If so, what?
I do like to practice photography, I currently take a course at high school for it, and I especially like making abstract photos with black and white film, and sometimes I even solarize my photos a bit.
Any other comments?
My favorite color is black, I like coffee, wrestling, and the tilde key. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~.
