My guestbook was bombarded with ads, and it was a pain to manually delete them every day. In trying to prevent this, I broke the guestbook. By the time I managed to fix it, I decided that it was a good time to create another archive.

comments:Hi Clysm!

You seem to know a lot about videogames and I've got a question that has stumped everybody I've asked so far so I'd be delighted if you could help. Was there ever a game for the PS1 that was basically an updated Smash TV/ Total Carnage clone? i.e a shmup with one joystick for movement, one for aim. Dual-shock controls are essential. Thanks!

comments:This game is too cute. I come from a big video game family.. having an older brother really helped get me into games back in the 80's... I think I enjoy your Seiklus game so much because its got that cute old school feel to it. The music is enjoyable.. Which is something that is so hard to find in games now days.. They don't take the time anymore to put some effort into their game music.
lol I've been playing this game all afternoon. :)
It reminds me a lot of Master Blaster for some reason... minus the tank and frogs and stuff.
But anyway.. It's very cute and I like it. :)

Also.. your taste in music rocks... Erasure,Depeche Mode, and Pet Shop Boys my favorite groups still.. Oh and you can't forget New Order. If you like Synt-pop you should check out this german group called And One.

Sorry this was so long!

comments:Great site. I've tried two of you games (Seiklus and the Johnny one). They're very artistic, and you are really good at conveying a mood through them. The Johnny one made you feel like you really were inside a kid's nightmare.
I just noticed your dreams page and it reminds me of some I had when I was younger. I often had dreams where I was in some mundane place and ended up in some abstract world, or where I found that if I jumped a certain way I would be able to hover above the ground.

Keep making those games, cly5m.
Cheers.

comments:I really love your site. I forget how I found it, but it was awhile ago. I just looked a little at the ZZT-related part that time. I found it again recently (looking for ZZT stuff, I think) and this time I downloaded game-maker, seiklus, Elu, and have been looking at pretty much all of it. I love it, and Seiklus is, in my opinion, better than a few commercial games I've played. I hope you make a sequel!

comments:I'd like to leave some more information, but I've only explored half of autofish, so I'll just take some kind of immortality raincheck.

One thing that's kind of interesting, though; My speakers currently don't work, so while I was playing through seiklus, I was listening to the radio.

Anyway, a song came on by Gary Jules, called "Mad World". It's neither the kind of music I usually listen to or the station usually plays. Nevertheless, I found that it fit perfectly, almost eerily, with seiklus.

Unlike Pink Floyd, since seiklus has no cutscenes, the music merely fit on a background music level.

Again, it's `Mad World' by Gary Jules.
