My guestbook service once again disappeared in January 2004. After waiting a few months for it to suddenly reappear as it has in the past, I discovered at last a way to host the guestbook on my own site.

comments:I recently got into ZZT again (I played it back in the mid-90's). I finished the original four in a matter of hours, and I've downloaded several other worlds, and am now working on my own, Escape From Alcatrazzt. I'll let you know when it's done so you can link to it. I'd like to know if the source code to ZZT is available. I have some ideas for simple adjustments to the gameplay, but don't want to start from scratch. Thanks, and keep up the work on the great site.

Anyway, while I'm posting this; do you have any long banners for linking? (As this site is vaguely ZZT related, i'd like to link to it, preferably graphically, from z2.)

comments:I just played Seiklus and it was incredible. I think its great to see a game that's so elegant and beautiful while at same time so simple. I think there's something to be said for games that successfully created environments that stick with the player. I know that it affected me, great work Clysm. I found your dream page particularly stirring. It echoes my own experience with dreams so closely that I actually felt nostalgic while reading dreams that I had never even had! Your clear portrayl of "dream logic" is amazing, you manage to capture the rationalizing the subconcious does in dreams without making it seem trivial. I've just decided to begin recording my own dreams, something I regret I have never done before. Upmost respect, Graham.

At times realy hard (good game play) but always 'soft', 100% oké. Is a example that game don't allways have to have violence in them to appeal. Collin Withaar

Title: 911 Review - two years after

On 2001-09-11 murderer attacked World trade Center.
On 2001-09-25 Chinese communist send a intelligence team
to Washington D.C. to "assist to capture WTC-attack
murderer"
Public understanding is that Afghan's Taliban carry out
attack to WTC. Chinese communist goto U.S. to capture
Taliban?! That is dog catch mouse! Not Chinese communist
business! It is not possible that U.S. at their busiest
period allow Chinese communist goto U.S. to do unrelated
action. The fact is that fourteen days after WTC attack
U.S. allowed Chinese communist to go to U.S. to "capture
murderer". This fact means that
Chinese communist spy net in the U.S. IS murderer!
With the communism smoke of "world revolution", Chinese
communist transfer its spy-net-in-U.S. to its master's
direct command. In WTC attack, in anthrax virus spread,
Chinese communist's master let Chinese face show up
everywhere. Mislead U.S. to believe it is Chinese
communist start attack U.S. and drive U.S. to go war with
Chinese communist. That is to start "Sino-U.S. big war"
Use U.S. gun fire to kill most Chinese citizen. To achieve
its master required
"One after one high skyscraper; one after one tomb plate.
One after one green mountain; one after one grave pile.
All United States become a big public tomb field,
and all China become a huge graveyard."

** Chinese communist must explain to the world community
** why Chinese communist goto U.S. to capture murderer?
** "capture murderer" get what result?

Lo and behold, I find Clysm's site... ah, Kudzu, the good old days ;) It always amuses me to hear ZZT players talking of the 'golden age' of ZZT, which would have existed about 10 years ago now. Anyhow, Clysm, this is a nice-looking site - good for nostalgia ;) Hope you're well.

I, myself TOTALLY missed it, since I have the short-coming of ignoring and hating anything "NEW." At the time ZZT was big, it probably seemed like some dumb 90s thing to me. It is playable 3-4 levels are fun for an hour or so..
